Such a versatile leash!!
Love everything about this leash. I live in the city and walk EVERYWHERE with my dog, I love that if my hands are full from running errands I can turn the handle into a waistband. Even better is the ability to shorten or lengthen the leash for wherever we are. The thing that I was most impressed with was how durable it is without being heavy, my dog does not love being on the leash but because this is so lightweight she doesn't seem nearly as bothered by it. Also, it being reflective is a must!
A Must Have
So glad I bought this leash. I can easily clip the end around something if I need the pup to stay put, and the adjustable length is so handy. Seems to be made of high quality materials and hasn’t frayed even with our dog chomping on it from time to time. I do with it could be even a little longer. When it’s clipped around the waist for running it can become too short to even be practical. For petite people it’ll work fine, but for my partner who is 6’-5” and athletic, it just becomes way too short.
Too short for around the waist
With the name, Slackline, you expect some, well, slack. But once adjusted to a 36” waist, there’s no room to lengthen the leash, and it arguably becomes too short. In fact, it’s a full foot shorter than the Front Range leash, at that adjustment. So I paid $10 more than the Flat Out to be able to adjust the length out (my older, waist-leash dog wants to lead the group), only to find there is no additional material to allow it to lengthen. I had purchased this one to augment my Roamer leash, which has stretched a little too much, but I will be returning it as it doesn’t match my need. Ruff Wear should offer this in longer lengths (like the Roamer); if they do, I’ll come back to it.
My go to leash
As a dog walker I’m always looking for high quality reliable leashes Being that we walk so many different dogs everyday, the leash is the most vital tool we carry Since day one rover has never let me down when it comes to their quality. I purchased my first slack line leash in 2014 and have never looked back
